Final homes on Jubilee Gardens Rent to Buy Scheme!

We are pleased to announce the completion of our final homes at Jubilee Gardens, Stockton, on our Rent to Buy Scheme! This project, spanning 4 years, has been so successful in bringing affordable homes to Stockton-on-tees. With thanks to our fantastic partners, who developed the site, Barratt Homes. Hellens Residential now proudly let 99 properties on the development and look forward to keeping the families and individuals who live there happy in their homes for years to come.

Jubilee Gardens is a brilliant location, situated in the large market town of Stockton-on-Tees, with a variety of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes. Not far from scenic walks in Tees Heritage Park, as well as Norton Village and Stockton town centre, residents are not lacking local activities. The area is very popular with young professionals and families, making it an excellent place to call home.

With our Rent to Buy scheme residents rent their home directly from Hellens Residential for a 5-year period with a 20% discount on the market value rent. The idea here is that they can save up for a deposit to buy the home if they wish during the rental period using the money they are not spending on rent (because of the discount). After the rental period, they will then have the opportunity to purchase the home (100% including freehold) directly from Hellens Residential at market value. To be eligible for the Rent-to-Buy scheme, applicants must be in some form of permanent employment, must not have owned a home in the past or at time of application, and must not hold any CCJ’s past or present for Rent arrears or Council Tax.
